Not new to cooking baking just new to the group Stumbled upon you guys and see lots of great info here I'm embarking on some cute cupcake for my daughter's 6th birthday she loves pound cake & monster high So I am to recreate some Easy bake oven cupcakes she saw a month ago.

so I am doing

Monster high cupcake cups, pound cake cupcakes (maybe colored), a smooth marshmallow fondant cover then a frosting brain on top of each cupcake...LOL

She is a trippy gal, we'll see how this turns out I have never in my entire 42 years ever used fondant

but I am putting together a recipe tonight to see how it comes together. maybe I'll color and weave it to add another element on top of the cakes.  I've just to find a cool recipe for a tasty butter cream icing before I part here tonight.

Off for a trial run

(The last birthday cake I made for her took me two days to decorate because of the stiff decorator icing

it was a 4 layer cake with lots of color and lots of edges 2 layers rectangular bottom with two layers star shaped top WHATWAS I THINKING)
