I'd like to make shimmer fondant. But does not have a air brush, so Im thinking about using a sponge or a regular brush.

So, should I buy shimmer dust, or shimmer paint?

I would try using luster dust.

Im not sure what to do. I dont think I will be making that much at a time. I did find a cheap air brush set. But it might not be worth it, if I only use it like twice a year, and only a small piece of fondant.

Does anybody have pictures of shimmer fondant, where they've used dust and a brush?

Any tips or ideas would help.

I want to use it wet to add a silver shimmer to a fondant covered cake. These two videos use it wet and dry.

AI have used luster dust to cover a fondant cake, the last cake I posted was covered with gold luster dust.I followed karacouturecakes on YouTube for a tutorial. Hope this helps
