Wow! I want to go spend just a day with Duff and learn some of his secrets thumbs_up.gif

Maybe Mary Alice will read this board and see how many CCer's want to spend a day with Duff. Hmmmm maybe she will suggest that he invite us up for a day. That wouldn't be a bad show idea........Duff deomonstrates techniques for cake decorators. (Hint Hint)

I just watched Ace of Cake. Did any one else hear what Jeff said the interns do? Wash cake pans. They do a lot of cakes in a week so I wonder how much decorating you would actually get to see.

after reading the first few posts, i was going to say the exact same thing.

of course if i had the chance to do this, i would, but honestly how could i? i have 3 kids and countless other things to take care of here at home... unfortunately, my hobby cant take center stage. oh well. i learn more from watching the show than i would washing the pans. icon_wink.gif

YIPPIE! When watching Duff last week, I just said to DH how cool it would be to be one of those interns. Needless to say, I sent in my entry! Before the intern idea I had dreams of just being able to go thru MD and being able to stop by his shop, but they only see folks by appointment only, and I suppose that's if your gonna order a cake, not just to be a "fly on the wall". Oh to win this contest. I'll be blessed just to see a CC'r win. Good Luck everyone!
