So has anyone found out who won this contest???? I know it wasn't me...lol!!!
My DB's and I just watched an episode the Ace this afternoon. They made a scrabble cake and Gum Ball Machine and a Slot Machine. There were 2 interns in the episode, who got to wash dishes and spent some Quality time or give some TLC to the large walk in Fridge.
Duff, said something about his first job being at MC-D's and having some good training and I forget what else. Of course having them start at the bottom just added a little humor. The interns looked pretty young to me. But then my boys were talking to me about the cakes the whole time, that the cakes were not in the scene.

I did find out today also that he did not know that there was pre colored fondant out there. I am happy to say I knew that before Duff 
. At least he admitted that all decorators worth thier salt (ok sugar) share information. And help each other. He should come here in his "spare" time. If he has any.
I emailed Jane to ask whatever happened since they had a contact us page on their website. Will keep everyone updated if I get a response.
It's all a big sham isn't it?? There is no internship, is there? You would think SOMEONE would know - or that they might feature it on the show or something.... it seems crazy NO ONE on here has heard anything about it....
I am sure the shows are taped all well in advance so if it were current news it would not show up until the next season. On the last episode they did show some interns that had to dishes and such.
I just wanted to post an update to the Duff Goldman intern contest put out by Jane Magazine.
Jane magazine announced on Monday that Jane Magazine is officially out of business. Their August issue will be thier last.
Which is also likely that the contest is has ended with the magazine.
