Customer has ordered a sheet cake with 2 small square cakes stacked on the sheet cake, side by side.  One square will have the high school graduates senior photo (the one with the black draping around her shoulders) and the other square will have her college logo.

Here is the problem:

the high school's colors are royal blue and silver

the college's colors are red and black

He told me I have free reign on what colors to use for the lettering and trim work.  Now her high school pic has no colors of the high school so I keep focusing on that.  I would like to use both school's colors somehow but those two color schemes just don't go together for me.

I thought of doing the two tone icing for each school and piping them around each square, one for the HS and one for the college....but have no idea what color to use for the lettering.

Here is a pic that they found so that you can see how the cake will be situated...this is just an example, not the actual colors!!

Thanks for any advice!!!
