Customer Wants Silver Glitter.

I have a lady that would like silver glitter on her cupcakes, when I explained that the glitter was only for non edible decorations she was fine with it, but I'm wondering if there is something that would give her close to the same effect? Everything that I find on the internet that's edible it's hard to see a sparkle and looks more gray than silver and I think it might look like dirt on white frosting.
I thought about the silver beads which would give her a shiny silver effect but I sure don't want to break someone's tooth, but then I found out those aren't edible either (btw...thanks everyone for educating us on these issues) So would anyone have an idea on what I could use to achieve this effect?
Thanks Lori
How about silver sprinkles / jimmies or silver sanding sugar? Not sure the effect you are looking for ... and then there's there always delicious (ahem) silver spray
Good luck,
Theresa
I've seen some pretty silvery sanding sugar type items.
If you paired that with a nice dusting of edible glitter I'm sure it would come pretty close.
I will check out the sanding sugar and little more. Some of the reviews I read said the sugar didn't sparkle as much as they hoped. I guess there is one way to find out...lol.. thank you!
it's not going to be the same as the disco dust, but i can't imagine serving disco dust to someone, so the trade off is worth it, IMO
I just uploaded this photo:

of the silver sugar effect on a microphone cupcake I made my niece. (The black one is black and silver mixed together). I don't love the picture but I think you get the idea!

There are glitters that are actually edible, not just non toxic.
I've ordered through the first link here, they were great. There are options in North America as well, a google search would find some for you.

ADepending on the budget (and design), what about doing flakes of edible silver leaf? X
