Hi. First time on Cake Central. What a cool place! I have to make a chow chow dog sculptured cake and I am nervous. I have researched techniques and think I will do it sitting on its hind legs. I plan on the body being cake and the head being cake. The muzzle, tail and front legs will be rice crispie. Two questions...which technique for fur should I use and how far in advance can I make the rice crispie part of it? Any advice would be much appreciated...I am new to all of this.
