AWhat a wonderful site this is! I have been reading through, but couldn't find an answer for my question..... I am making a 3 tiered cake that I need to travel with. Timing had made it that I will need to fondant and decorate my cake down there. I already have all of cake layers made and frozen. I want level, fill, and crumb coat everything and then stick it back in the freezer....so that I can have at least half of the work done. Can I do all this to frozen layers? Or should they defrost and then freeze again? That being said, should I just wait until I get down there for everything? Thanks so much!! Nlevine
