Hi all,  I'm not new to this site but I still consider myself new to baking and I am planning on making a 1/2 sheet cake with a doctored box recipe, covered in buttercream with fondant letters, legos and some lego men made out of fondant.  I have a question regarding the fondant legos and lego men, do they need any type of support to sit on the cake?  If so how should i support them, dowels, bubble straws??

Any help is greatly appreciated!! TIA

I attached a picture of decorations similar to what i'll be making.

AYou can use toothpicks or dry spaghetti to support your lego figures and, if needed, use some sponge to hold them in place whilst they dry. Although from the images they look like they will be pretty sturdy. I don't put anything underneath my figures, I just place the directly on to the cake. I hope this helps.

AThe attached decorations look small. No support would be needed.

Thanks for your help! The practice figure I made seemed a little heavy in my hand so I was worried it would sink into the cake.
