Hello and thank you in advance to anyone that can help me.

I am hoping to make a successful caramel mud cake, I have come across two recipes and am not sure which one would be best to use.  Any help or opinions will be greatly appreciated :)

Cake 1                                         Cake 2

250g unsalted butter                    200g butter

200g white chocolate                   200g white choclate

495g brown sugar, packed           200g brown sugar

375ml water                                 180ml hot water

300g plain flour                             150g plain flour

100g SR flour                               150g SR flour

1tsp vanilla                                    2 tsp vanilla

3 eggs                                           2 eggs

                                                      1 tbs golden syrup

Will cake 1 recipe turn out more dense due to extra ratio of plain flour and extra egg?

Will cake 1 give more batter than cake 2 when made?

And should I be using cadburys cooking chocolate blocks or something like Neslte milky bar block chocolate you find in the lolly aisle?

Sorry for all my questions, but again thank you to anyone that can help me understand the recipes differences

:)
