i seen some cute baby sugar items like little booties, bottles, etc. i do a lot of baby shower cakes and i mostly use fondant for such things. i like to make them out of sugar so i can make them ahead and store them for when i need it. plus it's something different and inexpensive and easy. my question is...has anyone ever worked with sugar and what molds do you use?

I´ve worked several times with sugar and it turned out very good with the most moulds ( I´ve never tried silicone moulds). You can also use any typ of container, made of glass or pottery, I wouldn`t use metal, as long as the top is the same size or larger then the bottem. Otherwise you can`t remove the sugar.
