AHey there!
So I'm making a 4 tier baby shower cake for 75 people, but I dont know what size of cake pans I should use. I was thinking 14 x 12 x 10 x 8. Thinking about it now, it sounds like way too much cake! Any suggestions?
Hi Navigatelife
I am pretty new to cc and only a hobby baker for friends and family but i use the wilton chart mostly for portions and also an app on my phone call cake decorating from the google play store which is really handy. here is a link for a simple chart hope it helps.

also the wilton one which has other shapes of cake on it.
Good morning,
Go to Wilton.com and look at a size chart, which tells how much servings come from each size of cake. I know there are tons of charts to use. Wilton is a good basic chart to start with and you can go from there.
Once you know how many servings each cake provides, you can figure out your cake sizes. There are party cake size slices and wedding cake size slices. I use wedding cake sizes for everything. My serving size is 1 inch by 2 inches by 4 inches tall. Once you have a basic understanding of sizes, you can determine if you feel another chart works better for you. Good luck and have fun.
