Hi there,

I'm supposed to carve this cake below tomorrow, I've never carved a cake before so does anyone have any tips for me?

Do I cut it in layers and frost inside? Do I need to chill it first? Will freezing it dry it out if I freeze it first?

Help! :)

If anyone knows of any tutorials too that would be AMAZING! Thanks everyone!

AFreezing won't dry it out, make sure it's wrapped properly. I tort mine before they're frozen because I have a wimpy Wilton leveller that would never cope with a frozen cake. Carve it while still very cold, it'll come to room temp. Crumb coat, chill, buttercream.
