Hi,

for the first time I want to make cupcake for my daughter's birthday.

I always prefer to make everything from scratch but since it's first time making it and need to make about 100 cupcakes, I decided to go buy some cake mix.

But since i don't want my cupcake to be too sweet, can I add flour? or maybe self-rising flour?

if i can mix those two, what ratio should i mix them?

I was looking at famous WASC cake recipe by kakeladi and looks like it was 1:1 w/o adding any baking soda or baking power. (I believe it was for fondant covered cake so much denser cake then cupcake)

Please help!
