I am about to start making cakes full time instead of just on the side. I want to come up with a business name in order to a logo, business cards, etc.

I am thinking of Honey B Confections....Cakes and cupcakes for all your special occasions. I thought I would have a little bee on my logo and have that as my signature so to speak. My name is Brandi so that's where the B came from. This is harder than naming my children! I want something that portrays professionalism and creativity but isn't cheesey.

Thoughts?

Cute! But are you sure you want the bee? Not to get you upset but bees are having a hard time and dying off and all. Science people don't know the problem so they can't stop it. If you start a business with a cute bee it can work against you. You have to think ahead. Good luck.

I'm sorry, but how would my logo having a bee on it affect the population of bees? Don't really see how anyone would ever think it was offensive to have a bee on a logo.

I teach in a school where we are the Yellowjackets and our mascot is the same as Georgia Tech's, a "bee". He's cute, even if he does look a bit menacing with his teeth showing. I like the name idea and the bee logo idea.

While I think JaniceBest meant well, the delivery could have been better, I do see her point, bees are having a hard time, maybe some information on that fact may help. Who knows, maybe the OP could use this information as part of her marketing strategy so her name wont ruffle any "pro bee" feathers.

We all need bees and other insects to survive, I know I want to be able to purchase these foods in the future.
