Hi Everyone ~ Has anyone ever used Wilton frosting under fondant?  I'm making a freebie cake and wanted to use the Wilton frosting instead of making a batch of frosting.  I actually like the taste of the Wilton frosting and I figured if this cake is a freebie, I could get away with it.  I just am not sure if it's stiff enough to use under fondant.  Thank you...

Ive used the wilton frosting. It does stiffen up after a few hours. I find it to work well with my fondant, I've had no problems.

Hope i was able to help!!!

AI've used it under fondant with no issues. However, I add some powdered sugar to it first to help make it firm up and crust better.

Thank you so much for your help on this one.  I'm going to try it for my cake.
