Hello!

I am just wondering if anyone has any advice about using Sugarveil in dry climates, I tried it and it went compleatly rock hard and cracked. I've altered the water ratio and had some mixed results. But I am just wondering if there are tricks anyone knows?

Hi Ginger - Glad I caught your question (for a quicker answer, pose it to our http://www.facebook.com/sugarveilicing page, which flags it for us immediately). Here's a good resource for you: Using SugarVeil in dry climates - https://www.facebook.com/notes/sugarveil-icing/sugarveilr-icing-in-dry-conditions/162135240497070. Furnace heat also makes for extremely dry air in the winter. You can place a folded, wetted towel or absorbent pad directly under mat to increase working time when cutting delicate SugarVeil shapes prior to placing onto a cake:*

Please let me know if I can answer any further questions for you - thank you!
