AI was reading some where about an app where you can input ingredients and cost. It was not Cake Boss. Now I can not find where I was reading or the app. Does any one maybe know an app that does this?

I use the CakeUlator on the iPhone. It takes some time to get it all set up with your costs--but once you have the recipes set up it is very helpful. It is, however, mainly for recipes…you would have to set up a "recipe" for utilities, and cake boards, etc. Also you can only add 6 "recipes" per order which is annoying. BUT, $5 compared to $150 for cakeboss---you get what you pay for!

I have been beta testing an app called TieredCaker for the iPhone/iPad.  It allows you to enter your price per serving and lets you build a cake based on the number of servings you need.  It's not really a recipe coster, it's more of a quoting tool.  I have made several recommendations to the develeoper (whose wife is a baker) and they seem very determined to make it a great app.
