AHi, I have a question , how do you make your buttercream very smooth? I use the viva towel method, but still doesn't look like I want to. The other day I saw a tutorial, end he use hot water for the palette knife to make it smooth. Do you guys have a special method? I really appreciate your help :)

ASoft buttercream, flat scraper. Apply icing in excess and scrape off the extra. Practice makes perfect!

AI like the upside down method. Just google it and it will come up. As said above, a smooth buttercream is the key, you can research how to do that...

Unfortunately theres no one tip :(. I tried sooooo many different things. And It was 6 months before I had a cake I was truly happy with. Practice practice practice. One day it will just happen lol.

I first had to perfect my buttercream.  I always make enough to fill my mixing bowl to cut down on air bubbles.  Getting it the right consistency helps me ice my cakes fairly smooth.  I'd say grocery store cake good.  Then I use a warm metal scraper to get it completely smooth.  I tried the paper towel method, but just didn't like the look.
