Help please...What is the best way you have found to attach sugar jewels to fondant?  I'm tempted to use melted candy melts...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TIA

I have done that by making "glue" with confectioners sugar and water.  Worked perfectly.  Has to be a thick consistency though, not runny.

Gum glue works well too, sprinkle 1/4 tsp tylose into 2 Tbps hot water and mix it up as well as you can with a fork, then let it sit overnight (or for a while, at least.) It sticks isomalt and sugar to fondant like nobody's business.
