AHi all, Just wondering if anyone has any ideas for Kid Rock themed cake. It is for a woman's 40th birthday. I'm assuming there are kids at the party, so it will have to be okay for all ages... as I had a design that was an album cover with a skull on it ( as kid rock) smoking, glasses all that. At first customer said it was awesome..... Then called to say that it was to scary.... Argh. Would love any ideas as that was my coolest one.

AHehe...I don't mean to be snarky (well... Maybe a bit!) but I can't think of a Kid Rock cake that wouldn't be scary! :lol:

Disclaimer: I'm sure he's a fantastic person etc. etc...his stuff is just not my cup of tea

AMine neither! Having a seriously hard time with this one! Hubby keeps coming up with ideas, but they are so not appropriate.... The birthday "girl" is a huge fan and she would be so offended with his ideas, but they are funny!

Seriously though, that is really tough. I wonder why she likes him? Is it the country or redneck aspect? Then you might be bake to get away with making up some beer cans or....hunting thingys...camp stuff. Or if it's the rock n roll aspect you could go with the usual rock stuff...guitars..amps...a tiny gumpaste kid rock at the microphone??

Edited to add: he has been associated a lot with the confederate flag....but i dunno if doing that would be positive publicity for you
