AWell I for one think the cake is lovely...I really don't have any critiques. All I would say is look into cake photography tips to present your cakes professionally

AVery pretty cake! Love the colors and nice job with the chevron. Do think about getting some good photos of your cakes. It is a great way to build a portfolio of your work.

AAlso chevron is the most pain in the butt thing to do! I am glad all my hair is in tact from not ripping it out.

AHi Shelby! I agree with the others, the cake is beautiful!, are those the real colors or are they altered by a photography filter?

You could look at Jessicakes class on Craftsy about the Wax Paper transfer method for the sides of the cakes so you don't have to rip your hair off next time! :D it turns really tidy that way and it won't stretch your fondant. She also describes it in her blog.

Those are the colors! the dark grey looks more of a charcoal black here because of the lighting (right in front of a bright window with yellow walls) but the colors are muted and pastels.
