I have a growing list of girls that want me to offer cake decorating classes. Has anyone done this? Were do I start and what do you charge? Thanks!!

Not yet, but may be doing my first small class for a 12 yr olds bday party in June.

Good luck!  I'm sure it's a great way to make some money AND have some fun!

Aah, cake. . .the 5th food group!!

I do it. I have a variety of different classes. Everything from how to fill, cover and stack - to figure modeling to wired sugarflowers. It is a very successful venture, but quite costly to set up.

I have an age limit of 16 years.

Forgot to say I just finished a wired peony class (bud, half open and open with stamens, etc) that was two days , 9.30-16.00.

I charged the equivalent of 200 USD.

Godot, offer a class in star tipping an Elmo character pan cake, and my butt will warm one of those seats. Actually, anything, and I'd be there, just for the conversation. icon_wink.gif

I will be with AZ!

There. Their. They're not the same.

I hope I die before "your" becomes the official contraction of "you are."

Well, on second thought, let's just forget about the class and drink coffee and eat cookies instead (and say mean things about stupid people we don't like).
