help i am trying to use my printer for the first time and i cant get  it to feed my waffer paper through with out it breaking this is the printer i have 

Canon IP7260 Wireless Inkjet Printer+PGI650/CLI651 Edible Ink Kit+Wafer Paper

please help me i am trying to print so that i can cut it and place the image around my round cake for this weekend

i dont want to do anything fancy but just print a image that is all the same when i cut it up just really trying to experiment with it so i know how to use it

I don't know this particular printer but I have a Canon MP990. Are you feeding the wafer paper in from the back manual feed rather than from the paper tray?
