We are taking the plunge. Signed our lease yesterday, and plan to open retail shop in May. 

My shop already was a bakery, so I am current on all plumbing/electrical. It already has 2 white counters in the front, which I plan to use for our cupcake displays. (Although I will need a small refrigerated unit for a few of my cupcake flavors)

I'm thinking it best to start with just sneeze guards (Think Georgetown cupcake style) but am curious, if you have similar in your shop- did you buy online and put them together yourselves? Or did you have a local glass company doing it?
