How much would you charge for this cake? She only wants the top 3 tiers and this would be my first wedding cake!

AAll I can offer is that it being your first wedding cake should have no bearing on the price. You can either execute the design or you can't. Also the time it takes to do those dragees on the bottom of the second tier..it takes hours. So charge accordingly.

I appreciate your advice! I definitely wasn't basing price off of it being my first!

Just wanted help with pricing as I tend to charge very little...$65 for a two tier fondant covered cakes with multiple figures and haven't been very good with pricing.

Was just looking for some help in that department.

Yes, the mark of a professional is knowing when you have reached your artistic and/or technical limit.  Just because you make cakes, and your prospective bride wants a cake, doesn't mean you are a match made in heaven.  And that is not a negative comment directed at you - I am being serious that most bakers shouldn't accept a commission from a customer if it includes elements that they haven't mastered.

How long would it take you to make the flowers?  The pearls?  Do you already have the lace impression mat?  Add up all your material costs, your time, your overhead, add on profit, and you will have a price.  If you haven't made the pearls or the flowers before, start making them and time yourself.  You can extrapolate the time for the quote from that.

Good luck!

Ok, I don't think that the lace is a sugar lace mat at all.  I believe that the two lace tiers are fake and are covered with real lace.  Here's why.  I'm in love with Sugar Lace Mats lately and have done a lot of research on them and purchased several from Hong Kong, there are about two that width (over 6")  and if you look at the top of the third tier down you'll see where the real lace folds over or puckers.  If it was sugar lace it wouldn't pucker like that - you could adjust it.   Either that or they've airbrushed over a piece of lace???   Under the lace they've lightly dusted or airbrushed colors.  Some of the girls in my cake club have done the beading and say to charge a lot for it because it takes a very long time to do it properly.  Three times the amount you expect.  No one can guide you on the price because it varies from area to area in the USA.  Naturally, the bride wants you to make her cake - because you charge very little (your words), and this is a very expensive cake.  We don't know how good you are, if you've ever made gumpaste flowers before, and like the other poster asks - if you have the lace molds, and the liquid necessary to make them, plus the airbrush or powder colors, are you good at smooth fondant finishes?  Do you have time to practice on a dummy cake.  I would, because your confidence in this design will increase.  Wishing you happy caking.

ADenise, you could very well be right! That shows why it is important to know exactly what techniques you will be using to bid the cake appropriately. :)
