AWhy not add melted chocolate to your fav buttercream? I love whipped ganache as my chocolate frosting which I've read on here many times is fine for a few days at room temp

AI see you need a dairy free option. Ganache wouldn't work since you'd need heavy cream. I have a milk ana allergic daughter. I will share one I have used for her. :-) It is a marshmallow fluff frosting and its yummy! -1 cup butter(earth balance works fine) -1 7 oz jar marshmallow fluff -2 cups confectioners sugar -1 tsp vanilla

Cream the butter then add the fluff. Beat at medium speed for one minute. Slowly add the sugar, then beat an additional minute once combined. Add the vanilla at the end. Its easy and tastes really good!!!

I suggested the ganache only because she was looking for something specifically chocolate and only wanted dairy free because of its need for refrigeration. But any chocolate suggestion wouldn't qualify as dairy free

AOh I only suggested the ganache because it seemed her need was for non refrigerated not specifically non dairy many frostings contain some sort of dairy but are safe un refrigerated for a few days :)

AI meant no offense! I was just trying to give another option in case she decided to not do chocolate. :) Sorry if I came across rude in any way as it wasn't my intention. I have to do a lot of dairy free for my girl. That's all!
