AIs it possible to bring Italian butter cream back together once it breaks down?? Help!!

AHow did it break down? Was it normal and then it separated at some point?

AYes it was fine at first but a few minutes later when I went to put it on the cake it just broke. I don't know why that happens? It has happened once before.

AHow long was it standing? It becomes a bit spongy.looking after a while and then you just need to.give it a.little whip. Maybe you could explain step by step what happened...that will help us help you :)

AI'm having a hard time understanding what you mean by broken. Did it get soupy or lumpy, full of air bubbles?

It sounds to me like it needs to go back into the mixer. Did you use a stand mixer or hand mixer?
