Hello everyone!

 I was asked to do a cake to incorporate this design but I wanted it to look unique( not just a drawing/edible image) so does anyone have any ideas how to make this one a cute one ? Thanks so much!

AThe puppy peering over the bottom tier of a cake with balloons rising up along the second tier and up,off the top of the cake! So the dog's paws would be resting on the ledge between tiers. His head (and, effectively, the image on the plate) would be on the side of the second tier.

Well, using Sassyzan's idea, you could have the puppy's paws on the cake board, with his head going up the side of the cake, with the balloons over and rising above the top of the cake, all fashioned out of fondant with overlays for a 3D effect.

I would take that exact picture and do it in fondant on a round cake.  It would be easy to do the balloons, but the dog might take more thought.  You could try to find a clip art version and see how he looks in a "cartoon" format.  But this is relatively easy to transfer into 2D fondant.
