Can anyone tell me what type of greenery (around the border of each tier) this is? The mother of the bride sent me this photo- this is the cake that the bride wants. I cannot find the name of this greenery and its driving me crazy! Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

I'm also thinking these could be bay leaves - only because I found this other pic by Jose Villa.

I thought I embedded the photo but it is showing up in New Cakes and won't let me edit - I hope it doesn't show up as mine - so far not :(

They could also be rosemary for its significance as a reminder of the wedding vows going forward.

I think it's too big to be rosemary, and wow I can't imagine that on a cake!  I can pick some up and have the smell on my hands for hours.

I have olive trees in my yard, and they look exactly like those leaves.  Green on top, kind of silvery on the bottom.  Pretty in bouquets.

May very well be rosemary or olive - The picture caption said he used bay leaves.  I  like olive because the leaves are a bit slender and are not as pungent as rosemary.

Never thought about the way it would smell.  I like the idea of olive leaves though.
