Antique Gold Airbrushed On Yellow Modeling Choc?

I already looked this up, but wasn't 100% certain on the verdict.
I made modeling choc with yellow melts and have made a Buddha head. I want to spray it with Crystal Colors Antique Gold.
Has anyone done this and can definitively tell me whether it will work before I make a mess?
And do you think it would help if I dry dusted it with antique gold first and then airbrushed it? Maybe it would stick better or just be a waste of product?
TIA
Well, since no one answered, I had no choice but to go for it.
It turned out ok...I am going to cocoa dust in the crevices to give it a more aged appearance.
I think I would have liked it better if I made a light brown modeling chocolate, rather than yellow.
Lesson learned.
It's really decorative, I've never put anything on modeling chocolate, so it's nice to know it worked out well for you.
