AHello here,

I really need help on this. I need to get an intense red meringue. I'm not making IMBC, I'm making just IM. This meringue I believe is too delicate and can be messed up easily. I know that coloring affects its consistency, so I want to find way how to get this color without having my decoration to lose shape.

Thanks a lot :)

Try powdered food coloring, or a light airbrushing on the meringue. The color will bead if you apply too much with the airbrush, but maybe the combo of tinted meringue with airbrushing will achieve the color you want.

Powdered Food Colors were the first colorings that I used, as I could use them for both icings and candy melts.  They don't thin down icings.
