Hi! I'd like some peer input if you don't mind.

I've hired a graphic artist to design a logo for me. I now have to choose between two designs, the only difference between the two is one has a steampunk-style gear as the O in my first word. The font will be on parchment-style background with a steampunk border of swirls, gears and saw blades, and I will have the font to use separately as a watermark or on letterhead, etc...

I'm soliciting a general opinion about this... as far as marketing goes, will it be a memorable branding device or just confusing?

Thanks!

You will need to post what the logos look like - we aren't going to be able to give advice on a verbal description.

AI agree photo is needed. But, I love the steampunk idea. Just know going in people who don't understand steampunk won't get it but if it represents you and your happy to wear the hell out of that logo go for it. My logo is claddagh holding a cupcake people love it or it goes over there head but it's me and let me tell you I have people buying shirts, stickers, and buttons with my logo. And most important I love it!! Good luck :)
