If I make the custard from pudding mix recipe, can I freeze any leftover custard to thaw and use at a later time?

what is the pudding mix recipe -- are you using instant or cooked pudding mix?

it is a recipe I found here on the site under fillings.  "Custard from pudding mix"  and it uses Instant pudding.

just based on the life expectancy of instant pudding--it gets weepy in the fridge after a few days--i've never frozen it--so the idea of thawing it out doesn't bode well--but again i've never frozen it--it might do well--

but it comes in such little packages if it was me i think i would make half at a time or cut it back at the beginning rather than make it all--but it's worth testing -- i love to test stuff too--

I have frozen Bavarian cream  and other custard like fillings before with no problem, it should be okay to freeze. K8's right. it does weep when refrigerated.

p.s you could also make pudding pops with the leftovers :)
