AHas anyone found a brand of black buttercream that u can buy that doesn't have the bitter taste of food coloring? I would make it myself but I think by the time I get it black enough it would taste bitter. Thoughts?

AI use cocoa powder and add it into my buttercream than add black to that...of course this gives you a chocolate buttercream. .

AAgree with Kazita...anytime customers want black, we say go chocolate or you'll have bitter taste... So far they've all agreed or changed the color of cake...

If you need a small quantity 1 or 2ozs. I use chocolate buttercream along with the wilton black icing tubes. let it rest for an hour or two and you have black icing

Yup, make chocolate icing then add black, course it doesn't taste as complimentary on a white cake. It's fine as part decorations on yellow, or chocolate cakes of course.
