Firm And Moist Vanilla Cake Recipe Needed Pls!
Baking By dominique123 Updated 7 Jan 2014 , 1:58am by MBalaska
Hi there.
I am in search of a really good, firm but still moist vanilla cake, which can stand the weight of being stacked and can be doubled easily to make a larger cake please.
I have tried a few, but they ended up either being too moist and soft or dry and crumbly.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks
I don't know if you are wanting it to be from scratch but I make the WASC cakes and my clients love how moist they are and they are very firm, I stack them every time with no problem. You can find tons of the different WASC recipes right here on CC
AI agree with "as you wish" wilton's butter cake is really good!! I make it for all my cakes and it has never failed me!!

.....basic sponge or butter cake....
search for that thread. I posted my butter cake recipe. It's almost a firm pound cake, but just a bit softer.
My cut-n-paste function is not working, sorry.
