I think so anyway. Has anyone ever heard of this? If not and you like it be free to advertise it. A gift box cake with the removable lid. When you take off the lid there is a cube cut out and lined with fondant holding an engagement ring. What do you think. How do you market to men???

AI've made a cake similar to that, it looked like a ring box.

I'm not sure how you'd market it though...unless you could sell them to a nice restaraunt, where someone might propose. I think you need a special cert or something to sell to restaraunts.

I used to waitress at a Garfield's, it's like a TGIFriday's except the kids can right on the table, not a place I would consider romantic but guys proposed there all the time. We were a part of the mall, so maybe it was the jewelry store.

I think this would be great around Vday and Christmas, I also worked for Sterling Jewlers (Kay's/Ostermans/Jarred's), those were our busiest times. That's probably obvious ;)

I would need another license type to sell to restaurants. Bu contacting jewelry stores is a great idea!!!

AI remember my health inspector mentioning something about seperate licensing, sadly my brain is somewhere else ;)

I love that you're always thinking of ways to expand, your going to be the next Martha Stewart-build your empire!

AOne more thing. You'd probably be better off approaching independently owned stores, rather then getting corporate approval (which I imagine would be difficult) to run some sort of cross promo.
