I have recently begun the process of opening up my own cupcake store (I do custom decorated cakes as well but my passion is really cupcakes) and am trying to think of a name for my storefront before I get too far into the process. The last thing I need to do is have one picked out and change it the day I get the sign made haha. If anyone can help me think of some that would be great. I don't know what other information may help you out. My name is Jaclyn and my sons name is Vincent. I know I was thinking of maybe incorporating those but I'm not sure if I want to. Some I've gotten ideas for so far are "Charming Cakes & Cupcakes" and "Small Packages." My friend suggested Small Packages because she wants me to be able to have the slogan "Good things come in Small Packages." Thoughts and other ideas?

Only advice I can give is once you pick one go to your state licensing agency and see if the name is available...also check the national trademark site

Well I would stay away from anything that has the word package in it, small packages would get a lot of naughty giggles.

You want a name that makes it easy to understand what you are selling, easy to spell and easy to remember.

I don't think people here will be much help without more to go on though, as far as your inspirations for the shop.

AName of city, cupcakes. Tells people where you are and what you do. Simple. Effective. It seems to be working for Georgetown Cupcakes.
