I Want To Keep My Cake Cool But Not In The Refrigerator

i have no space in the fridge but i need my cake to stay cool becuase its a fresh cream cake so i was wondering could i put cold cool packs under the cake storage box to keep my cake cool????

i'm not sure about the safety factor because i'm not sure about the recipe you're using--

 

--if it's iced or filled with whipped cream it needs to be in the fridge--i'm not positive what a 'fresh cream cake' entails--i have a pound cake made with cream in the batter then baked that doesn't need to be refrigerated--

 

i use cold packs for delivery--

 

i toss stuff out of my fridge to accommodate cake--

 

if it's for family sure use cold packs if it's for someone else to serve to others--my recommendation is stay clearly solidly on the safe side--

 

no i getcha--i finally went out and bought a commercial fridge because i was sick and tired of cleaning out the freakin fridge at 9 pm so i could fit a cake in there--and this knowing i could never be legal from my house--putting on the suzy homemaker hat is the last thing one wants to do after completing a cake but...what are yah gonna do?
