Hello!!!

I was wondering if anyone knows how to make a manhole cover from fondant for a teenage mutant ninja turtle cake. I have a client that wants a TMNT  cake for her sons birthday and i am at a crossroad with it. Can anyone help or have some technique or idea on how to make one????????????

If you have our you can find a rolling pin similar to Wiltons Basket weave roller you maybe able to use it to make the texture of the manhole on your fondant and then just then use anything that you have like plates to make the circular part of the manhole and add the rest of the design.

What about cutting out a round of fondant and then using some royal icing in the same color to pipe the lines/pattern for the top of the manhole cover.

AI think this sorts has one that would be pretty easy to make if you don't have the correct tools. Hope this helps ;-)
