hi i am doing a birthday cake for my little sis she wants a barbie princess cake but i dont have the correct pan to do so, does anyone have an idea what else could i use to get a similar  shape plz.?

oh sure--

 

from the bottom up stack a 9x8x7x6x5--just one layer each--or if you only have a 9x13 pan--cut out those size circles to use as a template and lay them on the pan to see how you can fit them in and just carve it out--you could probably do it with two 9x13's

 

now if your cakes are one and a half inches tall the skirt on your dress will be seven and a half inches tall--you'll need to carve off the edges and use the scraps to make a waist--

 

you could stack up an  8x8x6 if they were two inches tall and just use the scraps to fashion the waist area--so it looks gradual and not just all of a sudden these thunder hips--kwim--

 

i mean you could use three 8" cakes too and just carve it out of that

 

tons of different ways--

 

you're just building a 'mountain shape' just stack up some cake and carve it out--stick the legs into a hole you cut out of the center and fill in for the waist area--

@ -K8memphis thanks alot i used a the 8  inch cakes so i will just carve it out :)
