Hi.  Does anyone know what the curly wire looking things on this cake would be?? I thought they might be wires but they look flat 

and wider than a wire. Any help would be very appreciated.  Thanks. :)

I do believe it is artificial bear grass. To get it to curl you run it down a knife like you do curling ribbon.

AOh I saw them at Walmart, I don't know what it is called but you can also use them to embellish flower bouquet. They sell it where are the plastic flower are.

AIts bear grass, my mom and i have been into flowers for a while and she was a floral manager for over 30 years. Its very pretty and yet simple. Its artificial it looks like in the pic. You can curl it a bit when working with it. Hth
