I was wondering if anyone has ever baked the NFSC and then frozen them and decorated them at a later time. Or.....would it be better to bake, decorate, and then freeze them?

TIA

You can freeze them at either stage. Plain, they are easier to thaw. but if you decorate them first, you need to consider possible condensation. It won't hurt the cookie, but can cause bright colors to bleed.
