ADoes anyone have any advice I made a 6" one just fine but the 8" was raw in the middle and burnt on the sides I used flower nails on the bottom but when I took out the cake they were stuck I just didn't like it....

How deep did you make it?  the layers need to be kept fairly thin.  Bake regular round layers of appropriate diameter to stack to the desired height, using the fat daddio pan as the top layer, and then carve so the cake tapers inward after filling and stacking.  I don't think it is possible to fill one of the fat daddio pans (or any pan that deep) and have it cook evenly.

I'm not sure what type of cake that you were baking. But for most recipes, you need to go "Slow and Low", or bake a long time at a lower temperature. You were correct in using flower nails, but you want them to float on top of the batter.

AOmg thanks soooo much this helped a lot I think I overfilled the pan and I put the flower nail wrong but I'm going to try again...
