I have a small cake business, but am wondering how important a web page is. I dont live in a huge city, but fairly large. I just don't know if it is worth the money setting one up and monthly charges.

AIt depends. If you have a storefront with a lot of walk-in traffic a web site is less important, but if you are a custom cake business with no retail shop your web site will likely serve as the primary face of your business, and it is worth it to either spend some time developing one yourself if you have the expertise or hire a professional.

A Facebook page is also helpful as a tool to drive customers to your storefront and/or your web site, coupled with an advertising strategy that makes use of SEO, paid web ads, and social media to reach out to your target customers.

AI use a free website from Weebly. It's easy to navigate, and they have a ton of themes to chose from. The free version has their name in the web address, but I'm ok with that for now. My website is Sweetbydesigncakes.weebly.com if you want to see an example of what you can go for free.
