mike mccarey has a fabulous dvd on making cars--i lost mine (dang it!) but it's basically like doing any sculpture--get the size you want and do stills of every angle so you can make a template--or freehand it if you are a genius sculptor--

i went to the dealer and got the book on this nissan car i did for my son--and i used rice krispie treats,  so i could take my time -- then modeling choco then fondant

and if you google 'mike mccarey's car cake  tutorial'--you get a lot of information there too

best to you!

my cookies are prettier than your cookies because this is the second time i substituted my opalescent sanding sugar when i ran out of sugar to make the batch ha!

He did a really good class on how to do cars on Craftsy, it will give you enough info to figure out pretty much any car.
