ADoes anyone know how long a chocolate dipped cone will last and how to store before adding the ice cream? Want to put around the cake and need to make ahead. Thanks

Use candy melts and not just regular chocolate. It will hold up well, harden quickly and not stay soft if you don't want to temper real chocolate. I would put them in a gallon ziplock back after you dip them. 

I honestly think you can buy them already dipped now. Might save you some time.
