How Was Fondant Applied To This Gift Wrapped Cake?

Hi. How was the fondant applied to this cake to look like a wrapped present? I have seen cakes where the sides look like a wrapped present but not the top. I would like to try to make this one. Thanks for your help.
There are a few ways to do this, but it's basically panels of fondant that are wrapped around the cake, then the tops are folded in to look like the gift wrap on the top. You could either wrap it around the square completely or use four separate sections, one on each side.
I think I'll do a video on how to do this, since it seems like it would be easier to show than to explain. My next project...

You really don't need a tutorial if you've ever wrapped a gift box, but i can't explain things verbally as well as showing it. But don't hold your breath, I have a long list of videos i plan to make and something always comes up to prevent me from doing it.
