Push-Pops Wash Containers Before First Use?

AHi!
I just purchased a 100 pack of push-pop containers to use for a birthday party. Do I need to wash them all before filling them or are they okay to use right out of the box?
Also, does anyone have some great recipes/ideas for making push-pops for a baseball themed party?
Thanks for all of your help!
Hi,
I would see if they have a special team (Red Sox, Yankees, Mets etc.) and color coordinate. For example for the Yankees I would use white cake with navy blue icing or vice versa and you could tie some blue and silver ribbon. For a general theme a simple yellow cake with green icing maybe piped with a grass tip and a little crushed up graham cracker for dirt effect. Maybe even some mini fondant baseball and bats drawn on with a food writing pen. You can even print out some baseball pic that says strikeout or play ball and glue them to the outside.
I hope this helps
Abetter safe than sorry if your not sure. It will take a few min to dump them in soapy water and will save you worrying and regret.
AThank you my obsession - those are some great ideas!
Bakers crush - I called the company that I ordered them from and she told me that they are dishwasher safe - I put them on the top rack and ran them through and they came out beautifully - they don't even have spots on them!!! You are right - always better safe than sorry!
