Hey everyone!

As you may or may not know, the tv show 'Next Great Baker' is now casting for season 4. I was really excited to audition for this season but then found out that it is partner based. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a partner and was wondering if any of you great people out here would like to be my partner :D

I am from Wichita, KS so if you're from around here that would be great. But if you're not then I'm sure we can work something out. My cake decorating skills are ok. I know how to do fondant, buttercream, royal icing. I know how to make flowers from gumpaste.

To enter you have to be at least 18 and be able to work in US. You also have to be available for 3 months for the filming process.

I am looking for someone who has the knowledge of cake decorating. You don't have to be fantastic, but if you are that would be great! Most importantly is that you have to have a positive attitude ;-D

I have to let them know by this week so let me know as soon as possible ya!

Thanks.. thanks... and thanks!

ADo they say which three months? I'm sure that would be the issue for most people.

i hope y'all get to do it--would be so much fun--but appears to be back breaking work too--so double up on your vitamins or something ;) catch up on your sleep--dang three months wow!

i'm thinking three months is just availability not the literal time they are torturing you er agh  involving you in the production

I think it's from January to March.

ADo they still expect you to house, feed and transport yourself during the 3 months like in previous seasons?

It's too much of a time (and possibly financial) commitment for me, which is a shame because I'd love to do it.

Best of luck finding someone and if you get through let us all know!

AThank you all for your replies!

I believe it is from Jan till March but not sure if there are other time commitments.

I'm also not too sure if we still have pay for transport and stuff but I would think so. I don't have much money :D but I would really love experience it once. At least try and audition for it..

So come on! Who's up for the challenge?? :D

AI think it really stinks when they expect you to pay the expenses. They make a lot of money off of the show and shouldn't be so cheap.

AI would never pay my own way to be be humiliated on tv. The edit for drama, and don't about someone's reputation.

No thanks! I hope they bring back FN cake challenges. :-D

I've never understood that part of the show; makes no sense.

ABoy, my "smart" phone sure makes me look stupid... I can't seem to write intelligible sentences with it. Ugh.

i always liked those till they started getting carried away imo--

when they put that one chick's cake in the fountain at caesar's palace--and they had people trying to use a pulley or something to land parts of the cake onto targets or whatever that was--i mean you know how hard it is to mentally switch gears when it's crunch time--i didn't like that 'extra curricular' stuff--

but i like a regular challenge --decorator aganst decorator against the clock and the tv camera and all that--but them hiding your cake --you not only gotta find it you gotta wade through a massive fountain to get it so you can finish it--please
